byod-programIn order to support innovative learning through the use of personal devices and technology, Collingwood College has a BYOD Program for students in the secondary school (Years 7 to 12).

Students are encouraged to bring a suitable device every day for use in the classroom. Access to the internet, school email service and use of software applications such as Word and Excel  are all part of our standard curriculum program.

Microsoft Office is available for free to all students by registering with their school email account at https://products.office.com/en-au/student/office-in-education.

In order to facilitate classroom activities and connection to the school network in 2021 we require that these devices run either:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 version 1709 or later, or
  • Apple OSX 10.12 or later.

We recommended that a suitable device should include:

  • Minimum 4GB Memory (RAM)
