Students in the Senior Strings Orchestra performed at the Yarra City Council Sustainability Awards on Thursday 11th September in the Collingwood Town Hall. Students performed admirably above the awards ceremony, using the old balcony section as their own ‘stage’, and provided welcome music for the guests of the ceremony.
Mabel (8C) and her sister Ivy, better-known to some as ‘Charm of Finches’, provided additional music for the evening, performing beautifully original pieces of music composed by Mabel.
